GP Global - Head - India Bitumen Business (20-30 yrs)

The Key Job Responsibilities of the position are as under :-

- Working as Profit Centre Head for India Bitumen Business and responsible for generating Profit margin as per the target. The Profit centre target involves achieving Sales Volume, Sales Revenue, Unit Revenue, Profit Margin and Unit Profit margin.

- Establishment and Expansion of Bitumen Business in India by setting up Terminals and Depots at strategic locations in the country.

- Development of Business Models for different territories / locations as per market conditions and implementation of the same through Sales & Operations team.

- Development and Implementation of Business Strategy for India Bitumen business in line with SWOT analysis for the company and market conditions.

- Strategic Marketing and Planning for India Bitumen business involving 7Ps of Marketing Product, Price, Place, People, Process, Promotion and Proof of Evidence.

- Sourcing of Bitumen from GP, UAE or other suitable sources at most economical pricing in line with the local prevailing and future prices for each location in India.

- Import of Bitumen in Bulk and Packed at various ports, in line with demand forecast and capacity of depots / terminals with minimum possible expense, at the right time and with Nil Demurrage and Detention charges.

- Regular Liaison with all Central and State Govt. bodies, consultants, technical bodies and labs involved in road sector for acceptance and Approval of our products as per business requirement.

- Overall management of Savli Plant Operations through Plant team keeping the Operation Cost and cost of manufactured products at minimal level, in line with the market standards. To ensure that the plant is maintained to the required standards.

- To look for opportunities for toll blending of Specialty products in other regions of the country so as to participate in Specialty products there. At the same time, to look for other marketing companies to offer toll blending from Savli plant.

- Relationship Management with HQO of all major Infra companies in the country to explore business opportunities through these companies.

- Recruitment, Training, Development and Coaching of Sales and Operations team at key locations in line with requirement of business from time to time.

- Regular Coaching and Review of activities of sales and operations team and extending regular support / guidance.

- Identification of Key opportunities of business expansion through collaboration, Joint Venture, tie-ups, partnerships or otherwise acquisition to give immediate boost to business.

- Reduction of Operations and Overhead expenses related to Bitumen operations, marketing and business development activities in India.

- To explore additional business opportunities and generate sale in the adjoining countries of Sri Lanka and Nepal supporting GP, UAE business also to improve their business and profitability.

- Identification, Selection and Appointment of Sales Channel in target states; training and development of channel men, making them work as extended arms for business.

- Working Capital Management by keeping proper control on inventory, imports and sales and also ensuring minimum operations loss at various depots & terminals.

- Credit Control on various sales on credit to customers and ensuring timely collection of amounts through sales team maintaining proper fund flow in the business.
