Evaluating suitability of processes for the future business growth, identifying gaps and recommending best practices for achieving the planned growth in business. 4. Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of the team to ensure efficiency in business operations, meeting individual & group target. 5. Maintaining import & export operations precisely as instructed by the relevant parties and arranging adequate logistical transport on time for oversize deliveries. 6. Managing logistics operations involving coordination with international freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, transporting companies & other external agencies. 7. Formulating short term and long-term strategic plans/budgets to enhance asset turnover ratio. 8. Devising and effectuating strategies for optimizing transportation costs of goods. 9. Involving in handling complete commercial documentation for export-import trade in compliance with statutory regulations. 10. Handling purchase, expediting, sub-contract, warehouse and inventory function so as to curtail inventory holding expenses and adherence to maximum & minimum stocking system for various categories & minimize wastage. 11. Managing shipping & transportations operations appointing new shipping line, freight forwarders, land transporters, negotiating & preparing final contracts and MOU. 12. Project Management: Lead various cross functional teams of the site for project management and construction with rigorous project planning including strategic decision making and execution for on-time within budget and high quality delivery. 13. Liasoning & dealing with Port trust, Customs, Railways, customers, Stevedores, vessel agents, surveyors, shipping lines for timely executing the cargo movement at yard & vessel.
