GoMechanic - Category Manager - Car Accessories Vertical (3-5 yrs)
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Managing top line & bottom line sales numbers and complete P&L portfolio for the car accessories vertical of GoMechanic
2. Driving accessories vertical growth and market share with strong product/consumer analytics
3. Managing products on all leading portals like Snapdeal, Flipkart & Amazon
4. Developing sales & marketing strategies and procurement of vendor services while ensuring end to end category development
5. Keeping up to date with the latest launch in the category and Doing R&D thoroughly for bringing the new products
6. Working with Customer Support Manager to identify which products /categories working best and identifying opportunities for improvement
7. Managing inventory, orders, operations and customer support team
8. Taking care of Marketing to social media sites
Candidate Requirements:
1. Has high degree of ownership and is a self-starter
2. Can manage multiple stake-holders and work well in an unstructured environments to hustle and get things done
3. 3-5 years of relevant experience with preference for previous category manager experience.
4. MBA (preferred) from a reputed institute
5. Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
6. Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management.
7. Proficient in data visualization and presentation and have hands on experience with MS office (Excel, power point, etc)
8. Good understanding of e-commerce industry and online retail
