Job description 1) Improve value adding capabilities of the purchase function through best practice, cost savings, cost avoidance and spend control 2) Actively seek improvements in supply chain activities and performance, primarily through coordination and collaboration with Supply Chain 3) Lead the purchasing team to deliver business reviews with key suppliers 4) Establish, implement and manage system to evaluate, monitor and report supplier scorecard performance. 5) This position is a key role in the accounts payable function, in accordance with Company policies and with audit compliance. 6) Ensure payment policies, procedures and process flows are adhered to, updated, and reviewed as per Company guidelines. 7) To manage accounts payable processes which includes: - a) Processing of invoice for adjustment/parked and blocked correction if needed. b) Investigation of parked and blocked invoices c) Prepare allocation, escalation and blocked report for entire team d) Monitor utilities and not to miss monthly invoices to ensure it is posted and paid on time e) Consistently achieve and sustain KPI. f) Involvement in SOX Audit compliance & other internal/ external audit requirements. 8) Manage 1st level escalation & issue raised by vendor or internal Pall 9) Monitor outstanding invoices payable, track status and manage internal and external vendor expectations 10) Prepare monthly KPI & QDIP report 11) Perform reconciliation of payable/vendor account 12) Work closely with other finance teams within the organization for a monthly closing schedule and ensure Accounts Payable is closed on a timely basis. 13) Handle special/ad hoc projects as assigned
