Going to School is a creative not-for-profit trust that makes design-driven stories, books, games, APPs and national television shows to teach the poorest children on the planet 21st Century Skills at school. We work in 2,500 secondary government schools across Bihar and Jharkhand, reaching 300,000 kids in Grade 9. If you are passionate about working with kids, get inspired by stories, like to travel and work with a big team of people who may come from various different walk of life, then this may be your calling.

If you are applying for this position, then

- you must absolutely speak, write and understand Hindi

- read, write and understand English for reporting and communicating with your teams

- you must have education and background in more or one of the following fields: rural development, sustainable enterprise, rural marketing, teacher training, education, communications, writing, economics, renewable energy, gender-studies, to join our growing team in Bihar

- a great team player, who plans, times, manages and delivers a task while being a part of a dynamic team

Everyone does everything, like all of us do at Going to School,

- Teacher trainings, travel and train teachers across the state of Bihar on how to teach and use our stories in classrooms, yes you may get an opportunity to meet more than 2000 teachers in a short span of time.

- Visiting schools, to teach, to talk, to monitor all the activities that happen at the school level. You- ll be assigned 50 or more schools to monitor, visit and inspire, ensuring children learn skills every week. You- ll visit, take the class if it's been missed, play the skills games with children and collect their projects. You- ll report back to Delhi on how many children learn skills that week and what you see is working, what needs to be changed.

- You- ll write stories. Based on what you see, what children share and tell you, the heroes you meet and the skills you think children should learn next year.

- You will be a team-player, ethical, self-motivated, on-time, driven by teaching the poorest kids on the planet skills they can use to transform their lives and create their own opportunities.

- You- ll get newer opportunities each day, you learn and you inspire more people in your team, to believe in the power of stories and work with kids to make the program a success.
