Manager Legal Compliance (MMR and East West Zone)


We are looking for Manager Legal Compliance for our organization :

- Manager Legal Compliance (MMR and East West Zone)

- Will be operating from Vikhroli office.

- Extensive travel to sites (Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata) for audits.

Role Summary :

- Key responsibility is to monitor, review and supervise GPL compliance framework system

- The person will be responsible for strengthening the compliance framework system.

- Complete all the audits across zones and sites.

- Work on processes to make it strong and bring proper control.

- Process Improvement initiatives.

Responsibility Area :

- To ensure compliances of project approvals. Will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business.

- Conducting physical audits on project sites and prepare reports for HO as per prescribed timelines on compliance/ non-compliance status

- Assess the project documents to identify possible non-compliance risks

- 100% Adherence

- Management of GPL's Compliance Framework

- Upgradation of compliance framework in line with organization growth & restructuring

- Monitoring and supervising GPLs compliance monitoring system

- Liaising with third party service providers on strategic assignments for enhancement of compliance programs

- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

Experience and Qualifications :

- Candidates with legal compliance background to be considered

- CS/LLB/LLM with minimum 4-9 years of experience in Big4s/Management Consulting/Real Estate Firms.

- Functional/ Technical competencies

- In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations

- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping

- A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality

- Should be assertive.

- Should have managed things independently.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Legal Acumen (Good in interpretation of laws)

- Updated with latest regulatory developments
