General Manager - Human Resources, GPL HO Job Title : General Manager - Human Resources, GPL HO Role Summary : - We are looking for an HR Professional to lead our People strategy and partner with senior leadership team, Zonal HRBPs, stakeholders to enable sustainable business performances. - The incumbent will be responsible to build an inclusive work culture and drive the long term D&I vision of the organization Role Specifications : HRBP : - Organization Structures & Culture: Design, implement and lead Organisation Design & Structures agendas to improve Organizational and Team effectiveness - Manpower planning: Manpower planning & forecasting basis business needs. Design appropriate strategies for recruitment of quality hires across functions & regions. - Talent Management: The incumbent will be required to drive the key strategic agenda at HO such as building functional capability and strengthening the leadership pipeline and ensure development of high potential employees - Employee engagement & retention: The role entails identifying key employee engagement levers and roll out corrective/developmental actions that have a positive impact on employee engagement and thereby productivity & retention. - Learning & Development: The incumbent will be responsible to drive and implement capability-based training along with Learning team for various roles in the organization. - HR Compliance & policies implementation: Recommends and ensures implementation of necessary changes in HR Policies. TA & D&I : - Craft talent acquisition strategies including campus to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs - Create and manage, together with Group corporate & L&D team at GPL a high quality learning journey for campus hires - Build strategies to retain and grow talent hired through campus, closely monitor their development journey and learning stints - Drive Diversity and Inclusion as a critical business agenda. Strategize and build our D&I initiative and help build an even stronger brand in external and internal forums - Develop a strong internal and external narrative around inclusion, drive sensitization sessions to build an inclusive culture - Work closely with the Zonal HR teams and business leaders to drive representation and inclusion agenda Position Specifications (Know-How, Skills and Knowledge for this position) : Key Skills : - Proven track record of successful implementation of people strategy, programs, and initiatives - Deep functional expertise in any of the COE areas (Manpower Planning, OD, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Talent management, Compensation and Benefit) will be preferred - HRBP Lead experience in RE/Construction/Infra setup will be preferred - Strong knowledge of labor law principles and practices - Demonstrate commercial acumen and understanding of the business/function and ability to balance it with HR priorities/initiatives - Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and communications skills to manage effective stakeholder relationship.
