The role incumbent will be responsible for managing a team of credit managers along with end-to-end credit underwriting and disbursal of mortgage retail loans. - Managing a team of credit underwriters for the said location - Portfolio management of managed location for early warning signals - Ability to underwrite with a balance of policy and processes with adequate judgement for prudent portfolio management. - Detailed financial knowledge of P&L / Balance Sheet and financial ratios - Support and train the team of credit managers along with keeping an oversight of processes and policies - Disbursal of Mortgage Loans including all checks and verifications - In-person meetings and discussions with clients - Responsible for maintaining the processing TAT of the location - Participate in and clear regular internal and external audits - Vendor management, including quality monitoring Skills & Qualifications - Years of experience - 10+ years - Mandatory Qualification - Post Graduation in Finance / Chartered Accountant (preferred) Essential skills - Team Handling and management skills and be an individual contributor - Strong execution and tracking skills along with time and mail management - Ability to work in unstructured and evolving situations with an open mind - Work in large and varied teams - Adhere to expected TAT without compromising on quality - Taking of initiatives, strong execution skills, forward thinking ability to anticipate hurdles - Ability to understand customer needs and be responsive - Technology skills - understanding of and working with existing market technologies in the mortgage industry
