The innovation function at GCPL works very closely with the R&D and Design functions (Acronym RIDE - R/D, Innovation, Design, Expertise) to ideate, prototype, consumer validate and help commercialize NPDs. The innovation team draws its resources from across the organization consisting of business managers, innovation researchers, project leads, domain experts and network specialists. The team is now mandated to develop and accelerate the 8 Quarter NPD pipeline across India and International businesses. It involves the creation and management of the cross functional business processes and leadership of cross-functional business teams to deliver in-market performance on new-to-world categories & new-to-world brand innovations. The team also scouts and evaluates various technologies for disruptive advantage across FMCG sectors. About The Role : The incumbent would work closely on special category-focused projects with the innovation and strategy teams. The work will broadly consist of projects involving: - Identify and assess 2-3 new categories in the FMCG sector - Build market landscape and category understanding primers for each project - Scan start-up ecosystems in the relevant categories - Assist on strategy development for GCPL in each category Skill(s) required: - Good networking and collaboration skills - Resourceful and ability to think out of the box - Excellent communication skills Preferred education background: - MBA/ Masters in Marketing preferred or Graduates with relevant work experience from FMCG / Pharma / healthcare / strategy consulting - Prior work experience in consulting / marketing / consumer insights is mandatory Only those candidates can apply who: - are available for full time (in-office) assignment - can start the assignment immediately and work for 3 months continuously - have relevant skills and interests - are based in Mumbai NOTE: Applications without CV attachments would not be considered
