Godrej Agrovet - Manager - Strategy - IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI (2-3 yrs)
Purpose of the job:
Driving strategy / transformation projects for select businesses of Godrej Agrovet, and being involved in M&A / partnership evaluations for GAVL overall, as part of the strategy team
Role Summary -
- Driving Inorganic growth Increasing profitability of businesses (additional revenue streams, Cost reduction etc. ), Building future product pipeline, Evaluation of future Capex plans (Build vs. Buy vs. Lease), Exploring future Global Partnerships, Creating thought capital on Indian Agriculture among others.
The team is part of GAVL Corporate, with the Head of Strategy & Business Development reporting to the MD of the company. The CEOs of the individual businesses, and heads of other functions also report to the MD of the company
We are looking for a team member who is passionate about problem solving, can drive value creation in diverse business environment and is comfortable travelling to rural India.
Qualification & Experience:
- MBA from premier B -School with work experience of 2-3 years
- Must have work experience in Strategy Consulting
- Ability to independently drive strategy projects
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders
Skills Required
- Excellent excel / power point skills, interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior exposure to Agriculture and Agribusiness preferred, but not mandatory
- Willing to travel to our numerous operating locations and distributed markets across the country
