Role Summary :- Business Development The incumbent will be responsible for driving strategic business development to expand business opportunities in a particular state for the animal feed business. He/she will work with the team to achieve volumes, value and contribution targets for the animal feed category and expand distribution channels by effectively managing distributors and appoint new distributors. Sales Process Development The incumbent will be responsible for establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas ranging in the scale of 4000 metric tons and above for the territories. He/She will also be projecting expected sales volume on weekly basis, while ensuring close commercial control to ensure timely payments. He/she will also help in strengthening our customer database by adding efficient service and adding more partners. This will be achieved through implementation of the marketing strategy for business and ensuring appropriate technical support in cattle feed/poultry feed through consultation with operations and nutrition teams to monitor and improve the feed performance. People Management The incumbent will be required to inspire and lead a team of 6-7 sales team members across the region through team leaders and mentor campus recruits every year. He/she will build and develop the skills and knowledge of the team members through regular training interventions and learning programs, as per the identified needs of each individual. Position Requirements :- Qualification & Experience - MBA / PGDM from Tier I campus is preferred. - 6-10 years of experience in rural sales with at least 2 years of team leading experience in FMCG/ Feed/ Agri industry. - Willing to travel extensively - Open to be placed anywhere in India.
