Godrej Agrovet - Manager - Human Resources (8-10 yrs)

- This role requires managing the factory HR responsibilities for 2 units at our Mahad location. The plants are part of the Astec Lifesciences business which is a subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet Ltd.

- The incumbent will be responsible for bettering the existing IR practices and for introducing new initiatives on the floor. The person should be well versed with labour issues and the legislation surrounding them. He will bring value in managing a workforce that's partly unionised. The external environment consists of such players as contractors, gov. agencies, police, political parties, villages; managing those in favour of the plant is important. The person has to ensure that all the statutory compliances are met. He/she will play a key role in wage negotiations and settling LTAs.

- This position will manage the entire talent strategy for Mahad unit including budgeting, sourcing and hiring of talent; in white collar as well as blue collar categories. The incumbent will be responsible for driving corporate HR initiatives at the plant and will be in close alignment with corporate 'Centres of Excellence' viz. talent acquisition, learning and development, talent management etc.

- One of the key responsibilities will be to enhance employee engagement and diversity at the unit. WHO YOU ARE:

- MBA / PGDM preferably specializing in Labour Studies or Personnel Management

- 8 -10 years of relevant industry experience.

- Strong Analytical and Communication skills.

- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders.

- Strong on negotiation Skills.
