Godrej Agrovet - Executive - Pricing Analysis - Marketing Function - Animal Feed Business

Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL) is a diversified agribusiness company dedicated to improving the productivity of Indian farmers by innovating products and services that substantially increase crop and livestock yields. With FY 2017-18 sales of more than Rs.5800Crore, GAVL has interests in Animal feed, Oil palm plantations, Agro-chemicals and Poultry processing. Godrej Agrovet has 50 manufacturing facilities across India with a network of ~10,000 rural distributors/dealers and over 1400 employees. The Animal Feed business is India's largest, selling over 1 million tons annually of high-quality feed and cutting-edge nutrition products for Dairy cattle, Poultry & Aquaculture.

Job Purpose:

The incumbent will manage the pricing profile in the marketing function for Animal Feed business.

Job Specification:

- Operate the pricing tool 

- Conduct key analyses and recommend optimal pricing by SKU Monitor dashboards 

- Impact of changes on margins & volumes 

- Work in collaboration with the sales teams to monitor market trends/customer behavior/competitor strategy Validate pricing and market intel collected on competition 

- Support implementation of annual pricing strategy to meet profitability and volume targets for the business 

- Lead implementation of market intel app across regions and act as SPOC for managing databases and query resolution Own the MDM process to manage various masters, cluster definitions etc. needed to keep the pricing tool running smoothly 

- Provide analytics time to time as required relating to impact assessment, adoption rates, reasons etc. for the pricing recommendation and further analytics on the market intel

Role Requirement:

- 3 years of relevant experience in pricing, MDM, ERP, S&OP Processes Experience in working in structured processes with rigorous data management and process orientation
