GoAir - DGM - Accounts Payable (12-18 yrs)

Good understanding of systems, handling invoice and payment processing, vendor reconciliations , vendor management etc.

Key Accountabilities :-

1. Responsible for the Accounts payable function.

2. Ensures accurate and timely recording of all Vendor / Expense invoices and efficient payments as per defined due dates and in close co-ordination with the Treasury Function.

3. Reviews accounting reports and vendor reports to ensure that accounts are reconciled periodically with all major vendors especially statutory and regulatory bodies. Keeps track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments

4. Develops, implements and ensures adherence to Company systems, procedures and policies.

5. Manages monthly closing of financial records for the Accounts Payable Function.

6. Presents monthly and periodic MIS as required on the various expenses and works closely with Financial Controls and Internal Audit Function.

7. Good application of functional knowledge on SAP and allied solutions and Excellent working knowledge on MS Office.

8. Reconcile payable reports each month to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate and resolving queries if any and maintaining excellent Vendor relations.

9. Undertakes financial management projects & provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline as assigned by CFO/VP Finance.

Education & Experience Qualifications :_

- Chartered Accountant ( Mandatory)

Work Experience :-

- 12- 18+ years in relevant role
