Job Purpose :-

To develop and implement a system of Financial controls for the cost areas assigned ( Flight Ops, Sales & Marketing, IT, HR, Finance, Legal & Secretarial & Procurement).

Key Accountabilities :-

1. Annual Budget and Rolling Forecast preparation after taking the input from Operations, Category & Planning and Marketing inputs.

2. Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by way of timely preparation of management reports ensuring analyzing the expenditure on a monthly basis to control expenses.

3. Controls : ( Flight Ops, Sales & Marketing, IT, HR, Finance, Legal & Secretarial & Procurement)

4. a) Proactively drive the strategic planning, Budgeting & Forecasting process and ensure alignment of targets

5. b) Perform periodic analysis & business update on key drivers for cost optimization .

6. c) Maintain effective control environment by identifying potential risk areas and inefficiencies and develop solutions to eliminate risks and minimize loss.

7. a) Participating in the Vendor negotiation rounds.

b) Verify and approve all RFAs raised by the department and ensure compliance with all relevant SOPs and COA in the areas being controlled.

8. Drive compliance with the Budget for costs and analyse variances, if any, in the actual costs of the departments versus the budget, identify ways and means to address such variances.

9. Monthly Financial Analysis, MIS Deck, Board PPT, investor presentations and FAQs for various Stakeholders.

10. Checking & assessing the value drivers of business and developing analytics around key measurements to facilitate business decision-making.

11. Conducting Internal Audit, Financial Controls with knowledge in Airline Revenue Accounting process.
