Job Purpose-

Contributes to a range of business planning and corporate strategy activities within the Strategic Planning Group (SPG) of GHIAL covering the preparation of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), preparing presentations for CEO/Top Management for use in external gatherings, industry events and policy advocacy efforts, preparing/coordinating responses to correspondences from govt. & regulatory agencies and preparing & maintaining MIS on key business & operational issues among others.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Business Planning

- Prepare the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the identified/assigned depts. & help consolidate the business level AOP on the SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) platform.

- Preparation of AOP presentation along with the team for Management approval and rollout of the business plans for the year

- Monitor and review the implementation of the AOP/business plan and bringing in updates/course corrections as required by management

2.Policy Advocacy Support

- Involvement in Policy Advocacy efforts in terms of preparing notes/presentations to support the top management in their stakeholder engagement efforts on key issues of significance to GHIAL

3. Business & Operational MIS

- Prepare and release MIS on assigned business & operational areas

4. Support for Business & Top Management

- Support preparation of reports/analyses/business cases related to business requirements

- Prepare Presentations/Management Notes for conferences & external events/meetings as required to support CEO/Top Management

5. External Communication & Correspondence

- Support management of external correspondence by the organization in terms of preparing/managing responses to Parliamentary Questions, communication from Ministry of Civil Aviation & from other Govt. agencies/external entities in assigned business areas

6. Special Assignments & Initiatives

- To drive activities at the business level as required for Corporate/Sector initiatives viz. Data Requests, preparation of applications for awards and other assigned activities

Educational Qualifications

Preferably MBA in Strategy & Finance from a reputed institute

Relevant and total years of Experience

4-6years of total experience with 2-3 years of experience in strategy function or general management role in an infrastructure company
