Qualification: B Tech - Mechanical /Post Graduate in Supply Chain Management

Experience - Min 15-20 Years out of which 5yeras with same capacity in Infra Industry with revenue size of 5000 Crores& above.

Responsibility:

- Managing the overall procurement of Key Materials like Equipments, Cement, Steel Diesel, Bitumen, Shuttering

- Materials, Finishing Items and Other project requirements by devising various sourcing strategies

- Controlling all group purchases directly to cut costs and maintain high quality levels

- Coordinating with all vendors to procure right materials at right time frame

- Ensuring and maintaining all technical aspects for purchasing best products in best rates

- Maintaining uninterrupted flow of materials to support the development schedules

- Procuring materials economically at a cost consistent with the quality and service required

- Provide the necessary expertise, advice, information to the projects and subordinate officers with regard to the best quality of material available in the market, supplier's capability and performance etc

- Analyzing quotations and bids etc

- Controlling end to end purchase activities of projects

- Obtain quotations and prepare vendor evaluations of quotations received from different suppliers

- Negotiation with vendors and give clearance to place purchase orders and follow-up for details

- Coordinate with the vendors regarding their pending deliveries and outstanding payments and resolving their queries and other issues

- Review vendors performance time to time and enhance alternate source for procurement in case of any emergency etc

- Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects
