Job Title (India Specific): General Manager – Integrated Manufacturing

Purpose of the position:

Responsible for plant operation and maintenance. Overseeing all aspects of India Engineering & Maintenance, Capacity expansion projects, Cost Improvement and IE analysis. Establish plant policies and procedures. Responsible for plant production & GMP goals. Establish and maintain community relations. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.

General Responsibilities:

1. Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures.

2. Maintain a clean and safe plant with regards to GMP & HSE requirements.

3. Establish and direct plant policies and procedures.

4. Provide leadership and direction to engineering team on manufacturing platforms and processes.

5. Responsible for plant production goals, Process Engineering and Process Capability Improvement

6. Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.

7. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff

8. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping.

9. Conduct employee performance reviews.

10. Provide support to R&D and Engg. for New Product/ Process development.

11. Responsible for the product quality for the plant.

12. Plan, Organize and direct Manufacturing and Maintenance Operations which ensure the most effective
return on Assets.

13. Implement Manufacturing Strategies to meet business plans

14. Business Planning. Manage spending against budget.

15. Employee Engagement.

16. Lead & deploy Improvement initiatives – LEAN Deployment, OEE Culture.

17. Customer Service from the plant.

1) Business Plan Attainment

2) Plant OEE, Rhythm Time, Plan Attainment

3) Timely Delivery on New products/packs

4) CIP Target

5) Plant Inventory

6) LWDC/SII

7) No Legal/Quality non compliance

Qualification:

1. Education: MBA in Industrial Technology- Operations/ M Tech/MS/ Masters of Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical and instrumentation Engineering )

2. Experience - 12-14 years in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Industry and Dairy industry.
