GM - India Operations - Industrial (15-20 yrs)
- The candidate should not be an Indian local. Machine building or similar industry experience would be preferred.
- Responsible for overall production, sales, engineering, and finance of an individual or several SBU’s including the profit and loss of the entities.
- Strategic Plans/Initiatives: Develops and implements strategic plans for individual or multiple SBU’s in line with division and corporate goals and/or profit centers. Analyzes SBU strategic initiatives and determines methodology/feasibility of implementing corporate goals and objectives.
- Sales & Marketing: Ensures brand identity and sales/marketing goals are in line with division targets. Good tracking record of sales performance.
- Budget/Forecasts: Maintains overall responsibility for P&L. Determines long range forecasts and insures subordinate staff is maintaining budget objectives while reaching and exceeding sales goals.
- Management: Develops and maintains a competent work force through recruitment, training, coaching and establishing goals and objectives.
- Qualification: Minimum 15-20 years experience in increasingly responsible staff and management positions through GM/Sales/production/manufacturing lines. The ability to develop excellent working relationships with all levels of management is required. Experience or exposure in India is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in management, business, engineering, accounting or other related area required. MBA or other graduate degree preferred. Proficient in computer software systems relevant to the position. Proficient in English language skills.
