Role :
Reporting into the India CEO and managing a large HR team, your role as a Head of HR (Corporate and Plant) would encompass :
- Managing the Corporate and Plant HR activities for an employee base of 1500+ people
- Designing and implementing the HR strategy including manpower planning, compensation philosophy, organizational capability, talent management, leadership coaching and succession planning, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations
- Providing strategic counsel, coaching and support to the management
- Facilitating proactive business partnerships between management and Human Resources to meet business and financial objectives
- Execution of the people strategy in India and providing leadership through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication
- Leading the HR team and ensuring support on IR / labor law related matters where required
- Ensuring compliance with global policies and local legislation are adhered to
As a successful candidate, you should have :
- Post Graduate in Human Resources with 10-15 years of experience of handling both Plant and Corporate HR in a manufacturing based setup.
- You should have minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role and should have successfully managed large teams
- You should have good exposure to managing a large employee base of permanent and contractual labor
- Strong exposure to IR
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop close relationship with key individuals within the organization
