We have an urgent opening with a smartphone giant :

Location : Chennai & Delhi

Designation : General Manager

Experience 12 Yrs to 20 Yrs

Role Government Regulatory Affairs

Major Role

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify current and prospective trends in public policy, analyze their potential impact on recommend appropriate courses of action (support, suppress, redirect, initiate) and develop advocacy plans to achieve preferred outcomes.

More specifically:

Identify policymaker goals, and creatively identify paths to reaching those goals which do not result in material impairment to business models or partner relationships. When possible, spot opportunities to align policyholder goals with long-term interests;

Identify commercial opportunities that may arise from larger policy trends already in progress or that can be initiated with available resources and at acceptable cost;

Develop model legislative/regulatory language through consultation with the Regional Head Quarters, Finance Department, Factory, Telecom Giant Research Institutes, Legal Department, other internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders who share common interest

Commission and oversee internal and external research projects as needed to support policy initiatives;

Identify and champion opportunities to utilize existing Telecom Giant resources to support policy initiatives;

Prepare briefing materials, correspondence, and policy papers.
