GM - Finance & Accounts (14-20 yrs)
Accounting & Finance Functions: -
- Review of Subsidiary Company Accounts and Joint Venture Accounts on regular basis.
- Review of monthly Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet and quarterly financial Statements.
- Review of cash flow statements.
- Responsible for maintaining the accounts in compliance with the Indian Accounting Standards.
- Responsible for the Tax Audit.
- Responsible for the Annual Accounts audit and Group reporting audit of the Company.
- Responsible for review of project accounts on monthly basis and coordinating with Project Accountants.
- Maintaining and exercising control over Fixed Assets.
- Responsible for designing internal controls and checks.
- Responsible for filing the periodical Income tax returns with the tax authorities.
- Responsible for Value Added Tax (VAT) and Service Tax matters and filing returns with the tax authorities.
- Responsible for payment of advance tax on quarterly basis and tax planning for the Company and for Subsidiaries and dealing with the tax authorities.
- Responsible for monitoring expenditure incurred which attracts Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) and filing FBT Returns and payment of FBT to the tax authorities.
- Attending Income Tax Scrutiny assessments and providing information requested by tax authorities.
- Responsible for Service Tax (ST) matters like maintaining records and for filing periodic returns with tax authorities.
- Cash Management which includes monitoring of Bank balances, Debtors and Creditors and investment of surplus funds in the Fixed deposits and Mutual Funds.
- Monitoring Finance function on day to day basis like funds received from customers, funds requirements of project offices, payments to sub-contractors.
Participating in the Monthly Management review meeting and presenting the monthly financial and accounting data.
Budgets, MIS & Cost control Functions : -
- Preparation of Annual Financial & Revenue budgets and Capital Expenditure Budget in coordination with various departments.
- Ensuring Cost Control through monthly and annual reports and thorough analysis of Variances with respect to Budget with reasons.
- Coordinating with functional heads for conducting monthly review meeting and crystallizing action plans for future months and monitoring their implementation.
- Monitoring of expenditures so as to ensure correct accounting of expenses.
- Design, development and delivery of various MIS reports as and when required by the management.
