Brief Description of Key Responsibilities : - Responsible for assisting and supporting, Litigation in all legal cases related to the site acquisition, deployment and maintenance operations - Responsible for timely filing of legal applications, maintenance of legal records and appropriate handling of customer communication Section II: Job Purpose Assist and support National - Head Legal Field Operations in all legal cases related to the circle level site acquisition, deployment and maintenance operations Section III: Key Job Responsibilities Perspective Responsibility : - Functional/ Technical/ Process Legal Support Delivery - Advise middle-level leadership on legal cases and issues with a focus on commercial and operational issues and agreed risk parameters and on taking cases to the High Court or higher authorities - Research civil, criminal, corporate and labor laws and issues and strategize the course of action in a particular issue or litigation - Draft and vet pleadings, plaint, affidavits, applications, written statements and various notices and replies - Maintain complete records of litigation and implement MIS and reporting mechanism of all legal cases notices, draft memos and notes and present them to Management when required - Manage external counsel relationships - Customer Internal Customer Satisfaction - Coordinate with Circle Legal Manager and motivate them and suggest solutions and guide them with litigation strategy - Organize training programs of the Legal team and other functions - Design guidelines for litigation processes, drafting formats in coordination with National Head - Legal Field Operations - Financial Legal Budgeting - Implement the standard policies to ensure timely and cost-effective legal action and safeguarding of organization People N.A. Section IV: Key Performance Indicators : - Performance Measures TAT of Head Circle Legal grievance resolution - Internal Customer Satisfaction scores - % deviation from standard policies Section V: Job Requirements : - Educational Qualification: LLB - Technical Competencies Financial Dispute Resolution - Problem Solving - Regulatory & Compliance - Knowledge of Litigation in Tower Infrastructure Industry - Knowledge of Electricity, Environment and Telecom Law - Legal Drafting - Language Proficiency in English and Hindi Relevant Experience : - (in Years) Experience in practicing before District Courts, High Courts or the Supreme Court of India with some corporate law experience is preferred Section VI: Key Internal and External Interactions : - Key Internal Contacts Purpose of Interaction - Circle Legal Manager Coordinate with to develop and implement solutions - Key External Contacts Purpose of Interaction - External Counsel Coordinate with and manage relations
