Glowroad is building India's most profitable social e-commerce platform where resellers share the catalog of products through their network on Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, etc and convert them to sales. Glowroad is on a mission to create micro-entrepreneurs (resellers) who can set up their web-store, market their products and track all transactions through its platform. Glowroad app has ~5M downloads and 1 lakhs DAU's.

Glowroad has been funded by Accel Partners and recently raised a series B+ funding for a total of 24.5 million USD. We are scaling our operations across India.

Why We- re Hiring:

At GlowRoad we feel user preferences of next billion-user are very different to mainstream e-commerce user. Also, mobile first semi-urban users provide immense opportunity and scale to innovate and change user habits. We are trying to build India's biggest social e-commerce platform for this target segment.

We- re looking for a VP - Product to join our team. In this role, you will have full ownership over all things product. At first, you will oversee both our e-commerce and mobile app. In the medium term, you will exclusively dedicate your time to the mobile app.

This is a highly visible and critical role that will drive GlowRoad's growth and strategy. If you- re an innovative leader with a passionate drive for delivering high-quality results and bringing new ideas to the table, then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

- Driving user acquisition and user engagement on GlowRoad's mobile platform. You will own the acquisition and engagement metrics on this platform.

- Working closely with the Management, Engineering, Business Development, and Operations team to outline product requirements for GlowRoad's mobile and Web-Store product.

- Define, develop and bring to market the next generation of disruptive e-commerce experience on web/mobile platforms.

- Combine tactical roadmaps and user requirements into a compelling product and conceptualize that vision within the organization.

- Continually seek to improve the product experiences by researching and staying abreast of new and innovative solutions and capabilities; key competitor actions; industry trends and emerging customer and market needs while maximizing business value.

- Employ a range of qualitative (user discovery research, focus groups, usability studies, etc.), quantitative (surveys, analytics, market research, etc) data into product requirements.

- Take the lead on understanding product line specific key business objectives and strive to be on top of the latest developments in Indian and global internet technology space.

Desired Candidate Profile -

- Strong mobile product experience, especially in user acquisition, user engagement and user experience space.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering from a reputed institute; MBA/Master's degree, a plus.

- 6+ years of work experience in top notch product companies with at least 4 years in a product management role ideally in mobile and internet and e-commerce domain

- Should have experience in one or more data and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CleverTap or MixPanel

- Ability to understand data and base his/her decisions on sound analysis.

- Ability to put the customer first.

- Ability to get a great UX designed through the graphics team

- The displayed a high degree of ownership and executions skills in past assignments.

- Translate problems into user-centric solutions and communicate that through the right documentation and clear communication.

- Strong cross-functional and team-building skills with an ability to foster creativity, innovation, and integrity within and across multicultural teams in an agile environment. Be the primary voice of the customer, but at various times the voice of sales, marketing, finance and customer success too. 


- You must be able to channel many points of view.

- Capacity to think strategically, and an ability to understand how product decision is tied to key business drivers.
