Position: SME / Product Manager / Sr. Product Manager
Experience: 12-18 YEARS
Product Manager Skills:
- Should have 5 to 7 years of experience working as Agile Product Manager / SME in Energy & Utility & Power Transmission & Distribution Domain and Enterprise Asset Management.
- Below Product Management skills are MUST HAVE
- Strong verbal, customer-facing communication skills. Collaborate with customers, Sales, Operations, Marketing, R&D team and outside influencers to ensure a solid and clear understanding of products and business need.
- Maintain in depth knowledge of products, solutions, and company offerings as well as competitors
- Assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Experience in identifying needs and creating product strategy for large scale platforms/product eco-systems.
- Should be able to do Market Research, Competition Analysis, GTM Strategy and Global Positioning for the product using secondary research. Adept in building and communicating Product Vision & Roadmap in discussion with Stakeholders and Client Partners. Should be able to build Product Success Metrics / KPIs
- Manage cross-functional teams in business, product, design and engineering.
- Should be a Certified Agile Product Manager and have good working knowledge of Agile (Scrum/SAFe/Kanban) Methodologies.
- Should have done successful Digital Transformation for multiple organizations with Agile mindset.
Below domain Skills must have:
- Strong thought leadership, clarity on General Industrial / Energy & Utilities / Power Transmission & domain knowledge. Expert in areas of Generation, Transmission & Distribution areas in Energy sector
- Extensive domain knowledge in Energy & Utility Industry specialty in any of the Upstream, Downstream, Oil Field Services, Power Generation & Distribution and Engineering as well as Technology Exposure on any CMMS Packaged software's like SAP, Maximo, Ellipse would be an added advantage
- Understanding of Various Reliability Analytic & Failure Simulation technique. Knowledge of Asset Reliability & Integrity, Asset strategy Management, Asset lifecycle cost Management
- Have Understanding on Asset Lifecycle Management and implemented Digital solution on the same
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Asset performance for managing different assets like Transformers, Circuit Brakers, etc. utilized in Power Transmission & Distribution
- Good knowledge on Site Reliability Management, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and distributed Energy Resources; like battery, power grid, turbines etc.
- Aware of various Asset Risk Identification technique and have implemented projects for Energy & Utility sector
- Knowledge of Industry standard like ISO 14224, IEEE, IEC & EN 50128
- Exp. in of Salesforce ServiceMax, IBM Maximo, Salesforce Field Service, ServiceTitan, Oracle Field Service, Microsoft Dynamic 365 Field Service (GOOD TO HAVE)
Product Owner Skills:
- Must have 5 to 7+ years of experience working as Agile Product Owner
- Solid understanding of system development processes and methodologies, including analysis and requirements definition.
- Create partnerships across the organization to author requirements that ensure overall implementation solution meets desired need
- System Analytics: the ability to see the big picture and can convey it to team members
- Experience at managing requirements in Agile methodologies - SAFe, Scrum, Kanban
- Experience at using tools for team collaboration (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Rally, etc.)
- Work with the development team to ensure that they understand the product vision and backlog. Should have the ability to organize and priorities requirements. Expert in Breaking down the high-level features and creating INVEST user stories.
- Lead and Participate in meetings with key stakeholders, providing product increment demo and answering product related questions
- Because the role requires a high degree of internal teams interaction, the candidate must have superior communication and influencing skills, an understanding of business process and
- Should be able to collaborate and work closely with clients, product managers and account managers
People Management Skills :
- Should be able to manage direct reportees, can coach & mentor Product Owners and Business Analysts. (MUST HAVE)
- Should be able to lead and have leadership Skills.
