Global Statutory Head - Finance Operations - Agri/BFS/BPO/FMCG (12-20 yrs)
Purpose and Accountabilities :
This position resides within Finance Operations.
The key purpose of the role is to :
- Own the Statutory Reporting Process across the geography ensuring both a sustainable process and adequate capabilities.
- To ensure delivery of the legal entity statutory financial reports prepared in all FO locations
- To manage the external audit process and own the relationship regarding LSR
- To manage Legal Entity Rationalisation (Liquidation) for UK, NL, and SG
- To manage and contribute to other Enterprise Compliance Initiatives including BEPS, UK Payments, Government Statistical Surveys etc.
- As a member of the FO and Center finance leadership teams, to drive local, global and cross process initiatives and to similarly engage with key business stakeholders driving overall improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of processes and interfaces.
Process owner for the end to end process of statutory reporting - from process design, implementation to operations - as part of this responsibility for the end to end process of planning, preparation, audit and ultimately timely filing of statutory reports in accordance with local country regulations and deadlines.
Skills and Requirements :
- Professional finance qualification essential
- Experience of leading audits and interface with external auditors
- 12+ years of work experience in various finance positions
- Strong planning and project management skills highly desirable
- Experience of engaging with staff and stakeholders from a wide range of cultures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability and to motivate, coach and retain staff, and to strengthen the overall leadership capabilities within an organisation.
- Excellent communications and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated evidence of Enterprise first values and behaviors will be taken into account during the selection process.
