Global Sales & Marketing Head

- People Resources has been engaged by a very well established and fast growing E-commerce platform and solutions company to help them find Business Head for their software services division. Our client helps its clients in setting up and managing their online retail business.

- They design and execute e-retail Strategies for leading brands and retailers in India and US. We are 900+ members strong and are one of the leading e-commerce services providers globally. Clients are based across 5 continents with the bulk of revenues coming from USA and Europe. It is a fast-growing, dynamic, organization. It offers a great work culture and environment.

Services include : Technology development & support, Merchandising Operations, Digital Marketing, Analytics, Supply chain management and Consulting.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategy and Planning :

- Play a Leadership Role in Defining Market Strategy for the company's Businesses. Establish competitor analysis and understanding of market share as part of the plan.

- Based on Market Strategy define a detailed plan with budgets.

- In conjunction with the business and market strategy, develop, communicate and translate sales strategy into pragmatic action plans,

- Create an execution and monitor framework and execute it with at most accuracy and diligence.

- Work closely with Management Team & HOD's to meet companywide targets.

Sales and Account Management :

- Organize, motivate and lead sales teams and ensure the team approaches all opportunities with right approach and solutions

- Train and manage the sales team to enable them to win new contracts within existing and new customers and thus meeting their respective sales targets.

- Manage and coordinate sales activities including supervision of RFP- s, Contracts, POS and Payment Cycles for all Potentials.

- Create Detailed Account Mining and Management Plans for Key Accounts and Monitor execution of the same.

- Achieve Monthly. Quarterly and Annual Targets of the company's Services Business across all markets and services.

Marketing, Outreach and Evangelization :

- Build and Manage Funnel for Existing Lines of Business by managing and executing marketing activities.

- Ensure all Funnels are fully functional including, Outreach, Trade Shows, Marketing, partnerships and more.

- Create Long term partnership for extending funnel and reach of the company solution and services.

- Network with key players and maintain an understanding of external market developments.

New Solution Development :

- Map out business / marketing plans for new solutions and services within the framework of the company's business strategy.

- Ensure Execution of those plans in terms of new customer and projects and revenue targets set for new solutions and services.

- Manage the strategy for development of New Solutions and manage the partnership vs In-house Capability Model to build the same

Job Requirements and Experience :

Preferred Candidate :

- Should have 15 Plus years of experience in Selling all IT and ITES Solutions to Mid and enterprise customers with all kinds of engagement models i.e. Projects, Support and Enhancements and Staffing

- Prior experience in managing and defining sales and marketing strategy for multiple business units

- Deep Understanding of Pure Play Ecommerce Players, Retailers and CPG Brands.

- Deep Relationships across the globe with Target Customers

- Should have experience in leading Sales, Account Management and Marketing Teams across the globe.

- Should have been involved in entire sales cycle from planning, budgeting to monitoring monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

- Should have prior experience in launching new services across the globe within The company's target segment and services solution matrix

- Experience in leading and managing large scale transformation activities
