Global Sales Head - IT - Retail/CPG Domain (15-20 yrs)

Responsibilities:


1. As a key senior member of the Sales team, negotiate and close high value long term business with focus on New Business Development.

2. Contribute to marketing activities and development of new service offerings.

3. Customer relationship management : Manage relationships including interfacing with customers to understand their business, operations & technology requirements as applicable.

4. Communicate business ideas, sales forecasts and sales cycle reporting on a periodic basis.

5. Continually work with team to build and execute new customer acquisition plans.

6. Ensure market sensing for new opportunities including channel partnerships, alliances with other companies in the eco-system, industry benchmarking and competitive landscaping.

Other Important Aspects Of Role:


1. Experience in Sales to Tier one/Teir II Retail Accounts in America, Europe/UK, APAC, ME and ANZ regions. Experience in Other Industries like CPG, Hitech, Cable/Media.

2. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with C-level executives

3. Deep understanding and insights into Retail and other industries like CPG Industry Analytics/IM needs.

4. Prior experience on working with offshore/geographically diverse teams is a definite plus

5. Annual Revenue of $ 100 m plus.

6. Demonstrated New business growth.

7. Develop sales objectives including sales volume, cost of sales, product profitability, and market share.

8. Ensures sales strategies and plans are consistent with the company's long-range strategic objectives.

9. Oversee the establishment of sales and field support policies and programs for all field operations
