Global Regulatory Reporting for Balance sheet and Financial Reporting: - Controls Documentation - Issue resolution - Fulfillment of reporting compliance obligations for external parallel run - Responsible for improving operational processes, advisory expertise and interpreting regulatory reporting requirements within a business context, communicating with a variety of stakeholders. - Manage and review balance sheet and statistical deliverables, due to external regulators i.e. APRA, RBA and ABS. You will have knowledge of controls and managing risk associated with balance sheet and statistical reporting and engage and consult with the data team, business units and the risk management team regularly - Exposure to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders while challenging yourself on a daily basis and expanding your skill set into Regulatory reporting space. Senior level stakeholder engagement and relationship building is a key part of this role. - Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and efficiencies when you see fit. You will also be responsible for ensuring a successful transition of new regulatory returns from projects to business as usual - Exposure to liquidity risk reporting and capital adequacy returns may be preferred - Knowledge related to investment risk as well as credit risk and its reporting will be an added advantage Requirements - Knowledge of, and a genuine interest in regulatory reporting, and be highly motivated and organised with strong interpersonal skills. An Accounting or Finance degree (or similar) as well as being a Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with at least 5 years post qualified experience is a requirement. - Demonstrated experience in financial services or investment banking with previous exposure to Regulatory Reporting is required to be considered for this opportunity. - Experience in managing and developing staff is an added advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a variety of different audiences and be comfortable with adapting to change regularly.
