Global Procurement Controller


JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Controlling & Steering of Packaging Materials procurement spends and act as Business partner to procurement.

- Work very closely to Packaging and 3PP Procurement Team to track commodity markets & economic developments which has strong influence on COGS to bring in the right intelligence in the business to the management to support pricing and product positioning strategy.

- Steering, planning, and reporting of material prices and analysis of trends and category spends to give detailed insights to the Top Management on reasons for price developments and expected price changes in the short & medium term.

- Plan and steer procurement KPIs like Payment terms, Procurement Savings.

- Provide support to Business Partners in key negotiations with right data and market intelligence to enable best price & quality delivered, including partnerships with vendors.

- Drive and standardize 3PP negotiation process, create transparency and validate ICPs for 3PM prices, co-pilot development of 3PP price planning tool.

- Be an inevitable part of the Procurement Area Management Team.

- Monthly reporting deck for review with Supply chain leadership team.

- Stakeholders' management - global role with high level of exposure and stakeholders' management on different organizational levels.

YOUR PROFILE

- A degree in engineering, business informatics or business administration, ideally with major in supply chain, finance or controlling.

- Relevant experience in controlling (Manufacturing, Supply chain, Sales, Marketing)

- Able to work independently without daily supervision.

- Travel once a quarter for 1-2 days in the current job & Mobility to relocate in the future

- Strong methodological skills (e.g. supply chain processes and business case calculation)

- High conceptual and analytical competence, proactivity and creativity in solutions with strong IT and data management skills.

- Distinct skills in communication & presentation

- Assertive and convincing in a role with high exposure, resilient under pressure with multitasking

- Solid knowledge of MS Office and good user knowledge of BI/SAP

- Power BI skills would be desirable but not mandatory, however the individual should be willing to learn creating & sustaining good quality Power Bi reports

- Fluent written and spoken English

- Curiosity and openness to learn and unlearn
