Our client is an American corporation with global revenues in the 100-110 billion USD range (2017). Across all functions, the business has been spending a lot of effort on carving out the value enablers. The business is always looking for people who have "been there and done that" but still maintain a very enabling culture. They have aggressive growth plans for India and are looking for a Global Process Manager driving the Procure To Order function, based out of the Bangalore office.
Description :
The incumbent will report to the Functional Process Owner and be responsible to :
- Provide a top quartile (effectiveness and efficiency) performance to drive an agenda of working with stakeholders to streamline the transactional processing of the Procure to Order process.
- Drive a process agenda (for efficiency) and a value delivery and change management objective with stakeholders (for effectiveness).
- As activities / capabilities migrate in to 6 shared service centers, the Procure to Order team will increasingly be required to drive a change management which is aimed at improving functional effectiveness through continuous improvement of existing processes
- Development of new processes and an efficiency agenda by receiving new activities and accountabilities from current onshore teams
- PTO End to End Process Strategy Design and Deployment
- Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) of the End to End Process
- Relationship Management and Skill/Capability Building
Profile :
- Approximately 15 years of experience working in a large scale global organization that have a multi-regional shared services capability for delivery, execution of global processes. Bachelor's degree or similar qualification required, concentration in Supply Chain (strong preference for Procurement); additionally prefer a professional certification like CPM, CSCP. Extensive experience of the Procure to Pay function.
- Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Process Management and Document Management implementation experience is ideal. Strong Operational experience in Procure to Pay function with transformation consulting experience within Business Services is a must.
- Process Re-engineering or Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required given diverse nature of operating landscape. Experience in process design and implementation of a procurement software package, SAP, Ariba etc.
- Experience in transformational projects, preferably the transformation of procurement and the implementation of a shared service network, preferred.
