Position summary:

This position is responsible for the Global R2R Processes. The Global Process Owner- Record to Report is required to work closely with remote teams and outsource provider to ensure the R2R Processes adhere to Accounting Policies and Procedures. This person takes the lead to ensure that R2R operates within a Continuous Process Improvement environment.

Job qualifications :

- Bachelors Degree in Accounting and CPA (or equivalent). A combination of experience and education can be substituted.

- At least 12 years experience in a Senior Finance Accounting Role

- At least one year in a Global Process Ownership role

- Experience of ERP accounting systems

- Workday preferred

- Experience leading Global teams

- Proven track record of driving stakeholder value, innovation and transformation

- Strong Communication and Negotiations skills

- Strong R2R processes definition, development and improvement skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills appropriate for diverse audiences ranging from senior management to frontline staff

- Exposure to R2R Analytics

Supervision :

- Number and title(s) of direct reports (if any): Currently none, but will be required to work tightly with the Finance Controllers network, and will also have direct oversight of the Accenture BPS R2R delivery team

- Received: VP Shared Services and Financial Systems

Job relationships:

- Internal: FP&A, Corporate Controller, Regional Controllers, CFO team, Remediation Team

- External: Accenture BPS Delivery

Job duties :

- Own the "As-Is" Global end-to-end Process Flows for the Finance R2R Tower

- Work closely with the established BPS R2R team in India to ensure service delivery standards are met

- Be accountable for the implementation, review and documentation of world class R2R business processes, including but not limited to: (i) Month end close process (ii) balance sheet reconciliation (iii) Intercompany accounting (iv) accounting controls, policies and procedures.

- Drive continuous improvement of R2R process, technology and org structure

- Establish regular communications cadence with senior management on process progress and performance issues

- Ensure appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are set and measured to determine the on-going BPS service delivery, as well as the impact of process changes.

- Ensure all activities in R2R scope are carried out timely, completely and accurately

- Ensure there is proper coordination within Retained Finance and BPS on flow of information, collaboration and handovers

- Support the full change lifecycle for R2R deliverables

- Review and maintain global process documents related to R2R

- Train other employees where appropriate

- Identify any new processes and policies and build a change "roadmap" that will drive process efficiency and effectiveness
