Key Responsibilities :

- Ability to work with Program Management team and other stakeholders as the central point of contact to plan and manage deliveries for business. Stakeholder Management across levels both internal and Third Party Vendors

- Support the project manager and the teams through requirements gathering, design, execution and delivery of the future global payroll operating model.

- Applying subject expertise in evaluating business requirements against solutions being implemented. Providing technical subject matter expertise by engaging with the key client stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify setup requirements and manage the successful implementation of vendor systems and services.

- Providing subject expertise and guidance to IT developers during the software development life cycle. Overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions. Determining whether technical solutions meet defined requirements.

- Verifying technical reference information, including user guides, training manuals, and system requirements. Ensuring accurate representation of expertise prior to the distribution of technical solutions to end-users.

- Documenting future processes for payroll team and disseminating information to all relevant stakeholders. Ensure alignment and adoption of business process and system usage.

- Act as a subject matter expert for researching, troubleshooting, and resolving integration and production issues, payroll processing errors and escalations, applying best practices and ensuring long-standing solutions. Understand cross functional impacts of certain configuration decisions/touch points, downstream impact of changes to the configuration, data, and integrations.

- Payroll transition management to support an organisation in transitioning to its future state model. Working with Service Delivery Team to ensure a smooth transition from onboarding project to live operation.

- Contribute to supplier service documentation, including Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators ensuring global consistency.

- Understand the severity of risks associated with a Global payroll process during the project execution and escalate as appropriate.

- Understanding and complying with of Quality and Risk requirements for Fidelity

- Leading, in conjunction with the Payroll Managers, the annual ISAE Audit process & RCSA pre & post implementation of vendor systems

- Develop and maintain trusted relationships across all impacted Global Product owners, Delivery Service Owners, and all local country payroll teams (in scope) to ensure that impacts to upstream & downstream processes are fully understood and actively managed to ensure new payroll process design does not negatively impact pay delivery & accuracy.

Experience and Qualifications Required :

- Strong payroll background with extensive experience in leading Global Payroll Operations/ Consulting / Payroll transformation (across APAC/ CE/ UK/ India) with strong experience of vendor implementation and transition management.

- Proven record of managing/supporting complex Global Payroll projects/ transformation programs with experience of working alongside both Payroll and IT professionals

- Experience in international/expat payrolls and equity compensation

- Understanding of payroll and related social security and tax withholding compliance obligations

- Proven experience in leading Payroll projects, with ability to plan & manage Payroll ' User Acceptance Testing ( UAT)', 'Integration Acceptance Testing' and 'Payroll Parallel Testing.'

- Excellent communication skills (with fluency in English is a must).

- Ability to work under pressure in a matrix environment with conflicting demands. Extremely hands-on with the confidence to manage stakeholders and multi-disciplinary onsite and virtual teams

- Ability to independently resolve complex problems where analysis requires the in-depth evaluation of numerous factors

- Ability and willingness to "roll-up sleeves" and delve deep into the processes

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

- Multi-country transformation and International cross-time zone working experience (statutory, regulatory, and cultural).

- Knowledge in payroll platform (such as Workday) would be an added advantage

- Six Sigma certified is a plus

- FPC or CPP or similar payroll certification is a plus
