If you love a challenge, and truly want to make a difference in the world, this opportunity is for you - As the head of this team, you are a super-athlete who will define and execute Community Engagement program strategy for B2C and Scholarship students, as well as Careers and Alumni relations from the ground up, to deliver on our mission of powering careers. - You will start by refining and executing the already defined strategy towards providing world-class community engagement programs and career preparedness services and building a thriving community of graduates with the objective to create an impact on students' careers in the long run. Responsibilities : - Help define the core strategy for all Community Engagement Services including key workstreams, KPIs and tradeoffs required - Execute against that strategy and ensure that each sub-team is functioning at the highest level to engage students and alumni and deliver expectations for each diverse program - Engage with Udacity student and alumni communities to understand their needs and to stay connected to their experience both with Udacity services and the wider community - Responsible for fiscal planning and management for Community Engagement Services, including all operations and staffing matters - Conceptualize and execute student engagement community programs within the scope of time and budget that meet the needs of students throughout all stages of their programs - Identify opportunities for, and create communications including announcements, emails, and newsletters and adapt tone and voice for maximum impact. - Closely coordinate communication with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure that the Community Engagement Services department is meeting the needs and desires of the students and alumni. Constantly monitor, analyze, and evaluate the scope of services offered through Community Engagement Services and plan, implement, and direct new programs - Work with the PR and Branding team to come up with student success stories globally and help in marketing efforts Requirements : - 5+ years in community engagement, career services, program management, or operations team management - Have a demonstrated history of leadership success in building and scaling high-performing teams - Are a keen, highly empathetic listener excited to build relationships with students and be their guide to a new career keep a track record of producing measurable results, meet deadlines, and balance multiple priorities and constituencies - Have the ability to build rapport and credibility with external customers and your colleagues across the company. - Have a genuine interest in student and career development, with experience working with candidates/students as well as hiring partners, preferred - Have natural agility and flexibility in the face of fast-changing and undefined situations. - Have strong analytical and communication skills. - MBA, PMP, Six Sigma, or similar certification a plus
