Global Manager - IT Procurement - FMCG (12-14 yrs)

Job Title Global Category Procurement Manager

Job Responsibilities

A. IT Procurement

- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities (e.g. quotations, tender, proprietary, waivers etc) of IT products and services (including but not limited to software, hardware, consultancy services, licensing etc) for i.e. managing commercial process of vendor bids, review recommendation papers etc.

- Negotiate (in alignment with policies) with external parties for better terms and cost savings.

- Build strong relationships with internal customers and vendors/suppliers.

- Provide advice and consultation for interpretation of policies/procedures.

- Conduct training for the development of procurement competency across the department; facilitate a platform for sharing of knowledge for continuous learning and development of procurement expertise

- Partnership with a central team of data analytics in driving innovative IT projects including but not limited to the use of Artificial Intelligent, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation etc.

- Identify and innovate with the implementation of process improvement opportunities

B. IT Contract Management

- Focal point for IT contract negotiations and document project discussions into contractual form (where necessary) for execution.

- Standardizing contractual agreements with related internal departments and external vendors, manage and maintain contract database (i.e. ETQ) for signed contracts/ addendums/ schedules (includes tracking of contract expiry, renewals etc)

- Ensure compliance to policies/procedures in relation to contractual matters and escalate to senior management where terms fall outside of 's policies

- Conduct yearly reviews on contractual terms and conditions with internal legal department

C. IT Vendor Management

- Evaluate potential suppliers using developed and agreed criteria to negotiate contractual relationships to meet the expectations and requirements of the

- Partner with the Vendor Management Office (VMO) to monitor and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics

- Engage with the VMO to assess strategic vendor needs and manage overall strategic vendor relationships.

- Jointly with the Delivery/Innovation teams in IT, develop new - Digital Suppliers: including startups and appropriate methods if working with them in an agile manner.

Candidate Profile

- Lead development of procurement strategies and support global strategies.

- Bachelor's degree/PG, ideally science or engineering related. Masters degree / MBA preferred.

- 12 plus years of work experience in Procurement with experience of IT Procurement.

- Strong leadership skills are prerequisites. This role needs an individual willing to find opportunities where never intervene as well as maintain recurring sourcing works for IT Centre with proper procurement/ corporate compliance, especially ability to lead and influence internal stakeholders and supplier relationship management.

- Demonstrated management experiences within a complex, matrixed, International business organization.

- Lead to execute regional/ global strategy with best practices- market intelligence, analytic and communication with key internal stakeholders.

- Lead contract development and its implementation/ compliance

- Manage relationship with key suppliers and key internal stakeholders and establish regular communication channels to create best value sourcing.

- Set and drive Global IT Center saving target for responsible spends.

- Ensure the Global IT Center has a continuous improvement plan to improve P2P metrics year on year. Role model appropriate behaviors and ensure that policies and procedures and followed throughout procurement process. Act as a point of reference for any procurement related ethics and compliance matters. For these, drive best practices utilizing digital procurement tools as such Marketplace, Global Spending Analysis, FORCE and ETQ.
