Global Head - Solution Design & Product Management - Connectivity Solutions - Telecom/Networking Firm

Our client is a large and successful emerging telecom & networking giant with a multi-country footprint and a robust portfolio that includes products, software and services. They are a highly profitable Indian MNC with an excellent CAGR. Currently growing both organically and through global acquisitions, they are now poised to move to the next level, as a global telecom vendor.

The company is seeking to hire a leader in the Telecom/IT space, who will be a key contributor in determining their market portfolio.

The Role

Working as the de facto Head for Solution design and product management, you will work with the leadership to identify, structure and position offerings in the global market. Key aspects of the role will include: -

- Analyzing global industry trends in the network connectivity solutions space, including demand and supply scenario.

- Product decision making, including solutions design, capability enablement and creation of the partner ecosystem.

- Defining and positioning the value proposition of the offering vis-vis the alternate offering in the market.

- Business and revenue planning.

Your Profile

To meet the above goals, we are seeking to hire an individual who has global experience in the following areas: -

- Technology: Thorough understanding of the data networking/IT and telecom industries, both from a product/solution market perspective.

- Markets: On-the-ground experience of defining and designing solutions for global customers in a hands-on business development role.

- Strategy: Thorough understanding of the strategy creation process and the long-term implication of technical decisions. Ability to define current medium- and long-term strategy is essential.

- Consulting mindset: You must have a problem-solving approach, preferably backed by a stint in the technology vertical of a global consulting firm. Ability to understand the problem, evaluate all possible options and evolve a solution is an essential attribute for success in this role.

You should be technically qualified and preferably an MBA from institutions of repute. Your experience profile must include both technical and market facing roles including successful stints at a global level.

Location & Reporting

The position is based in Mumbai/Pune and reports to the Global Head of Marketing. The company is open to overseas candidates who are willing to relocate.
