Role - India Delivery Head (ERP)

Job/Role Description :

We are looking to hire a global head of professional services delivery, to join our client at Delhi NCR, India.

Our Client is a full lifecycle enterprise class software system deployed extensively Globally by large infrastructure owners planning and delivering multi-billion dollar infrastructure programs.

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for the entire delivery of services, programs, projects, COE initiatives, for a services revenue stream exceeding INR 100 CR. The incumbent will do all of this in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, and will manage a team of 150+ business analysts, project managers, software developers, quality engineers and release managers in India. This position is ultimately responsible for the quality, on time and budget delivery of release objectives to exceed customer expectations, achieve operational profitability, and the highest revenue yield per employee. You will report into the Global CEO/MD.

Responsibilities :

1. Provide leadership to delivery managers, project managers, business analysts and software teams in India.

2. Drive software development activities to meet aggressive schedules and timelines while maintaining the highest bar of quality and a focus on exceeding customer expectations

3. Facilitate communication upward and across project teams including project status, justifications for variances and technical information (design and implementation objectives).

4. Ensure all processes and procedures, both internal to the team and interaction with other teams, are followed and work to improve whenever appropriate and necessary.

5. Identify training needs of the team. Plan and execute a structured approach to enhancing the skill level and productivity levels of the team.

6. Monitor projects, revenue yield per employee and customer engagement to drive on-time delivery, project profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements :

1. 18 - 24 years of enterprise software development and delivery experience including 5+ years in managing global delivery for a systems integrator.

2. Experience with delivering solutions on enterprise software products like SAP, Oracle or IBM is preferred with a background in having delivered .NET and SQL based solutions.

3. 3+ years of Experience of having worked in India in a delivery role having worked in a customer facing capacity with account management and/or change management responsibilities.

4. Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.

5. Understanding of custom software development processes and experience in managing agile development projects is a must.

6. Offshore DM experience (should have handled a large enterprise accounts or multiple small and medium sized accounts)

7. Familiarity with delivering SaaS products and services with very high availability

8. Proven experience building, recruiting and leading first-class Development teams

9. B.E / B.Tech degree from premier institutes such as IITs/BITs/NITs with a strong background in computer science / information technology

10. Extensive travel Pan India
