Role: Global Head -Marketing Function/Group: Business Development/ Marketing Experience: 14 - 20 Years Roles & Responsibilities : - Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organization's Marketing and Digital strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Strategic : - Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organization's image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications; - Develop and maintain a strategic perspective based on marketplace and constituent needs and satisfaction in organizational direction, program and services, decision-making and ensure the overall health and vitality of the Organization - Strategies the development and execution of global marketing communications initiatives including product launches, sales collateral, tradeshows, campaigns, social site presence, company website, public relations, internal communication, regulatory communications and corporate events - Define the marketing segmentation, data, operations strategy and tech stack that enables strategic targeting, dynamic demand generation campaigns, performance measurement, price/promotion integration, and integrated reporting across sales and marketing - Support the brand with high quality, timely marketing inputs and implement tactical plans / projects in order to maximize the value of the brands through launch, growth & other phases - Strategize effective field marketing strategies and programs directed primarily at current customers & build and maintain strong relationships and ongoing communications with Sales - Own the strategic vision for the digital marketing initiatives for the organization and bring fresh ideas to the table to amplify the digital presence for Tally Solutions across the globe - Provide necessary digital support on-the-ground promotion activities such as channel marketing initiatives - Keep abreast with the latest in the field of Digital Marketing and steer the organization towards new exciting areas of growth by implementing the best practices in SEO, paid digital campaigns and the latest mobile optimizations Operational : - Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications/public relations function - Develop short and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/ public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance - Ensure the integration with the business unit & marketing function within that of the greater group, and ensure that the business unit optimizes its use of shared and support services - Ensure articulation of Organization's desired image and position, assure consistent communication, both internal and external - Ensure communication campaigns and programs are aimed at reaching sales targets - Establish, own and drive an internal and external communications strategy that positively affects customers- understanding, engagement and commitment with the result of an even stronger connection to the company - Ensures continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends and takes necessary decisions - Preparing the marketing budgets for the year based on the brand strategy - Identify and gather data to support operational and strategic decision-making - Monitor industry news in the national and international tertiary education environment, including consumer trends, market developments and growth, and regulatory changes Business : - Participate in planning, creating, designing and implementing - Tie ups, Corporate sales & Revenue generation strategies - Monitor threats and opportunities and amend actions where necessary, to ensure brand/Sales development - Be alert to all relevant conferences and ensure participation at the right forums Looking at candidates who has global experience preferably from : - Steel/Cement Companies or B2B businesses basically - FMCG Companies (scale of network) - Someone with Sales Experience as Well (on ground connect) - Someone with some international experience would be nice
