Global Head of Data (Analytics, Data Science and Data Engineering) for a multi-billion dollar multinational organization with diversified business interest. The individual would bring the best of both business and scientific thought leadership capabilities with an ability to build and manage Global CoE by leveraging state-of-the-art AI, Data Science, Data Management and Big Data Technologies. The data science leader will be primarily responsible for strategizing, architecting and delivering Analytics & Data Science solutions across the value chain, will also be additionally responsible to oversee and provide directions to Data Engineering & Data visualization functions which will be part of the CoE Skills & Qualifications : - An ideal candidate would bring 15+ years of experience with strong background in Data Science/Advanced analytics areas with PhD/Master's degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Computational Physics or a highly quantitative discipline from a tier 1 institute. - He/ She should be a Data Science thought leader with capability to work along cross-functional business areas of such as Manufacturing, Supply chain, Sales & Marketing and Finance; preferably coming from FMCG / Manufacturing / Industrial setups. - Expertise in building and leading high performing teams to deliver the work, operations etc., and productize analytics solutions across the business functions - In depth knowledge on big data technologies, AWS analytics cloud platform and functional understanding of cloud platforms
