Position Description :

- The Director - Global Finance is responsible for the long-term financial and risk management of the organisation's global entities, with the support of regional and local teams.

- The Director - Global Finance will be focused on the development of a financial strategy, day-to-day oversight of the strategy and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

In addition to the above :

- The Director - Global Finance will, as needed, support the Client Team to structure and sell the organisation';;s solutions related to Finance.

- The Director - Global Finance will also be required to provide expert input, where required, on the delivery of Finance Services, in coordination with relevant local execution team members.

Specific responsibilities related to the Director - Global Finance include, but are not limited to :

- Oversee, monitor and ensure the overall financial health of all the global entities.

- Ensure effective cash and cash management for all the entities.

- Ensure efficient and effective daily finance operations for all legal entities of the organisation as required.

- Ensure legal, tax, audit, regulatory and statutory compliance and the swift resolution of emerging issues.

- Identify, monitor and mitigate financial risks related to all of the global and legal entities of the organisation.

- Ensure appropriate budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis for all the entities of the organisation, departments and contracts; including profitability analysis to inform future efficiencies.

- Support the structuring and sale of the organisation's solutions contracts, in partnership with the Client Team.

- Support the execution of Finance Services contracts with the application of expert technical inputs.

- Ensure accurate and timely internal and external reporting to necessary stakeholders (financial statements, ad hoc financial reports).

- Ensure the appropriate management of all general financial accounting (A/P, A/R, billing etc) related to the organisation's entities as well was client contracts.

- Ensure the creation of finance and accounting policies, systems and processes in partnership with the Operations team.

- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of all entities.

- Ensure that all financial information is stored, safeguarded and maintained appropriately in both physical and filing online systems.

- Ensure the effective management of finance vendor relationships, such as CAs, banks etc. in coordination with other team members.

- Provide finance guidance and expertise to Ennovent's team members, where required.

- Contribute to the overall strategic and operational development of the organisation as a member of the Senior Management team.

Qualifications :

- The Director - Global Finance is a senior corporate finance professional focused on ensuring the financial health for all the global legal entities of the organisation.

The candidate should possess :

- An advanced degree in accounting or finance; MBA with a finance focus preferred.

- 12+ years of experience in a professional setting related to finance and accounting; minimum of 8+ years post qualification required.

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role related to finance or accounting. A proven track record of success in managing the finance and accounting processes for a global entity of at minimum 50+ team members.

- Knowledge of Indian financial and accounting standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

- Exceptional financial modelling skills using Excel and other related tools.

- Significant experience or exposure to financial management software and ERP solutions. Exposure to impact investing is an asset.

- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills in English An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work with independence and flexibility to ensure targets and outcomes are reached.

Compensation :

The organisation offers a salary package in line with a structured compensation plan and commensurate with experience to all employees. This will be a full-time home-based role in India. The Director will be required to travel within India; the position may require travel to other regions as needed.
