Global Compliance Capability Lead - IT Asset Management - BFS (7-10 yrs)

Responsible for management of end-to-end Software licensing Compliance for the organization for the top-notch publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP & IBM and managing each of the related activities.

- Knowledge and understanding of Software licensing rules, Global licensing Implications, software metering and methods to optimize utilization


- Responsible to advise the zones the best ways to design the infrastructure of licensing methodology to optimize costs.

- Knowledge around implementation and management of Licensing management tool such as Flexera, Spider, Snow etc or any other industry recognized tool

- Publish periodic License Compliance reports to the stakeholders, recommend customized solutions to optimize the structure and drive closure

- Manage requests from business stakeholders, IT managers, developers, and Global procurement team for specific software asset management data and information.

- Collaborate with Global procurement team with vendor negotiations on software licensing, maintenance, and other services

- Respond to initial vendor software audit requests and manage Audit end to end.

- Conducting an internal contractual entitlement and support reviews, including the analysis of contractual, financial, and other documentation to understand customer entitlements.

- Managing conversations with the customer at all levels such as procurement, technical team members, legal, C-level executives, etc. to assess software usage, determine compliance with entitlements, and negotiate appropriate resolution of any non-compliance.

- Developing and maintaining related product use questionnaires/templates to be used during compliance assessments, reviewing the effectiveness of compliance tools, and driving the development of new features and functionality as necessary to improve compliance coverage.

- Becoming a subject matter expert on software licensing to support customer and internal requests for information related to licensing of software products.

- Partner with the processes leads (IT or Business) to deliver standard reports and metrics within the clients of the center. Ensure consistency and visibility.

- Collaborate with the different Zones Solutions teams to leverage best practices in order to enhance the governance and Model.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required in the role

- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Science or technical advanced degree preferred and at least with 7-10 of operational experience in the software industry with both technical and contractual exposure.

- Experience in collaborating with a wide range of individuals, including global teams, support personnel, contractors/consultants, external vendors, and internal company management. In addition, the individual should be proficient in team management and show a demonstrated ability to be an effective people manager/leader as well as an effective Project Manager.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal. Proficient in developing, organizing/arranging project information, and presenting to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums. Must have experience presenting and making recommendations to senior management.

- Understanding and demonstrated an ability to manage scope, cost and budget.

- Computer proficiency required. Experience with MS Office Suite including advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
