Description
The incumbent will report to the Global Procurement Head - Austria and be responsible for:
- Be a Business Partner for Sales, Production, Quality, Supply Network, and Technical department
- The PS will formulate and execute Doka wide Material Group Strategies that deliver uninterrupted supply at the lowest total cost by acquiring market knowledge, developing and executing strategic options, action plans and conducting major negotiations. The CSM will contribute to demand management, supplier management, and process management
- Build and manage the Category Team (contribution)
- Contribute to leading & developing the capability of cross-functional Category teams (competence centers)
- Develop and implement Category Sourcing strategies (demand management, supplier management, process management) according to the strategic sourcing and category management process (as outlined in the Doka Procurement Strategy) including (contribution)
- Investigate with the internal customer to lower the total cost of ownership of strategic commodities
- Build and benchmark Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models
- Develop and execute Material Group strategies
- Arrange for testing/piloting of new technologies and alternative supplier
- Persuade people to change and / or adhere to a certain strategic direction
- Manage existing supply base (contribution)
- Manage spend data in the systems and - in future - SAP and ensure accuracy
- Manage contracts and Monitor performance of suppliers, develop suppliers and resolve issues
- Exploit the supplier contribution for innovation
- Negotiate and formalize contracts and Communicate the contract by involving the countries and regions
Profile
An ideal candidate will come with at least 10 years' experience, The person must exhibit strong commercial and contractual awareness and excellent negotiation skills. Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with staff, clients and vendors are essential, also experience with vendor management, strategic sourcing and Hands on experience in procurement of metals is a must
