POSITION SUMMARY: This position looks after development, implementation and support of HR. Applications like GENESIS, SAP, Success factors LMS, Darwin Box and allied HR applications and acts as a: - Applications Manager - Project Manager - Change and Release Manager - IT Service Continuity, Capacity and Availability Coordinator - Service Level Manager - Business Relationship Manager - Enterprise IT Architecture & Functional Lead for HRMS systems OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Governance - Approves Creation, Modification and Deactivation of Admin User Accounts & Authorization Roles as and when required. - Provides regular information for performance monitoring and weekly/monthly MIS reports to PMO - Performs compliance and controls self-assessment for application system development and maintenance process and identifies recurring examples of quality defects and resolves them - Assists in new technology impact and business benefit analysis - Conducts awareness, education and training activities, particularly for IT continuity training sessions. - Ensures recording information from all internal repositories in a central knowledge repository particularly on Design documents, URS, Techno-functional specs etc. Provides inputs for IT personnel skills and training requirements identification - Assists in the identification of any specific risk management, security and compliance requirements for IT personnel - Supports the development and implementation of technology guidelines for Glenmark\'s technological solutions - Assists in risk evaluations by collecting data for analysis and providing inputs for risk evaluation scope - Supports risk response identification and responds to discovered risk exposure - Designs and maintains enterprise IT architecture for HRMS systems describing data, application, technology and security architectures - Identifies updates to the policies at defined frequencies to accommodate changing operating or business environments 2. Programs and Projects - Supports identification, selection and risk assessment of suppliers - Responsible for system development in line with defined coding and development standards - Approves system testing results and prepares implementation plan - Maintains application technical and user manuals, and associated system documentation - Develops and maintains project schedule, cost estimates, project baseline, and project charters - Responsible for periodic review of project status and project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies - Schedules, conducts, and documents project meetings - Monitors project execution and takes necessary steps - Identifies key system requirements for system development projects 3. Information Security - Implements security incident resolution and roll-back plan for IT infrastructure, in coordination with Senior Manager IT Security - Assists in the identification of applications and databases for which events are to be logged - Identifies segregation of duties conflicts and access restriction violations, and implements corrective action - Approves user access requests and periodically verifies propriety of user access, - Responsible for enabling logging on user access and monitoring privileged user accounts 4. Service Support - Performs incident analysis and impact assessment for incidents affecting HRMS applications - Identifies, develops, and implements resolutions for HRMS application problems - Initiates and monitors roll-back plan implementation if problem resolution fails - Develops release plan, release test plan, roll-back plan, and release notes - Performs post-release checks, monitors release behavior, and publishes release analysis and reports - Supports root-cause analysis and resolution development activities for identified problems - Analyzes impact of identified problems and problem resolutions on the IT architecture-HRMS 5. Service Delivery - Provides capacity utilization - Responsible for tuning applications - Provides input IT continuity, Raises IT asset requests, Provides inputs for Capacity Plan - Establishes continuous monitoring mechanisms for agreed targets thresholds, peaks of availability, reliability and maintainability of IT services and supporting components - Develops and maintains Service Level Agreement (SLA) framework - Discusses the findings and results of the user satisfaction survey with relevant stakeholder - Periodically co-identifies corrective actions with stakeholders in service reviews Education: Post-graduation in Systems / IT or equivalent Experience: - Minimum 8 years of experience in managing IT- HRMS systems in manufacturing sector or implementing IT systems for manufacturing sector - Minimum 2 years of this experience must be in IT- HRMS implementation for pharmaceuticals sector, preferable in SAP HR module - Implementation of Darwin Box is an added advantage Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical): - System architecture and infrastructure management - Vendor management - Computer System Validation - Exposure to IT infra components like Database, servers, storage, software, Operating Systems etc Leadership / Managerial Attributes - Adapts to different working environments - Project and team management skills - Communication and interpersonal skills - Problem solving and analytical thinking - Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training) - SAP HR module training - PMP or equivalent training - ITIL training - Information security training - Enterprise IT Architecture training
