The Compensation and Benefits function is required to leverage compensation and benefits as a strategic driver of performance, retention and engagement globally. It focuses on the governance of total manpower cost of the organization including compensation, benefits, variable pay programs and other mechanisms.

The role is expected to drive effectiveness in ensuring a standardized approach to compensation across India including pay structures, contracts, hiring ranges. This role will also be responsible for researching, establishing, and designing & maintaining a company's pay system as per philosophy. Exposure to salary bench-marking survey, leading annual increment / bonus payouts. The role holder will also be responsible for annual manpower budgeting process including automation, predictive manpower analytics and manpower long range plans.

- End to end management of Compensation programs for India.

- To handle salary revision and bonus process including guidance with respect to budget allocation, employee eligibility and coverage.

- Review and implement changes in Compensation structure in the preview of changes taking place in Labour laws and other regulations and best practices followed in the market.

- To analyse compensation data in light of market benchmarks and advice senior management on budgetary decisions

- Design compensation structures that are compliant and tax effective.

- Manage and coordinate with all stakeholders : Generalist teams, Specialist teams, HR Service Delivery and Business Support to enable the delivery

- Develop effective communication channels for C&B programs

- Support business units for India manpower cost budgeting process.

- Proposing system enhancement basis stakeholders feedback.

- Partner with business units in specific intervention aligned to business requirements

- As an SME, introduce best in class best compensation management practices

- Data Integrity of employee database in HR Systems.

- Design best in class compensation analytics to drive data backed decisions

Knowledge and Skills :

1. In-depth understanding of compensation, benefits as a driver of business.

2. Thorough understanding of contemporary compensation and benefits practices in India

3. Ability to drive decisions through data based insights and analytics

4. Excellent Project Management and MS Excel skills.

Leadership / Managerial Attributes :

1. Comfort with in working with management with high influencing skills

2. Excellent Communication skills, both written and spoken

3. Ability to effectively interface with multiple geographies and cultures

4. Highly organized and disciplined self-starter who is able to prioritize multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines.

5. Ability to work with multiple audiences, while building strong personal networks across a complex, consensus-driven organization

6. Exceptional attention to detail - highly organized with excellent follow-through and delivery
