Designation: Manager Category Development - Base Horlicks Department: Marketing Reporting to: Global Lead - Base Horlicks &amp; Boost Key Responsibility : - Support LOC teams to deliver against Brand and Business KPIs through sound recommendations on strategy and collaborate effectively to drive execution - Deliver Brand Growth Priorities aligned to Category Growth Drivers that allow for growth ambition to be delivered on portfolio of brands - Deliver consumer, shopper and expert toolkits on portfolio of brands, backed by a strong insights work, delivered to LOC on time as per agreed calendar. - Align various work streams on the brands to ensure coherence to Brand Strategy (innovation / product development, pricing, Investments deployment) and collaborate with Category and LOC teams to deliver the same. Experience / Knowledge / Technical Skills required: - 5-6 Years- experience - Mandatory Category Development experience (designing &amp; developing brand communication / brand strategy) of at least 3 - 4 years in FMCG industry - Strong skills of mining consumer insights and using them to drive communication platforms - Ability navigate different data sources to identify brand issues/ opportunities and build recommendations for driving brand heath and business growth - Strong governance of process and projects - Strong Commercial acumen - Ability to think creatively and laterally - Ability to work with ambiguity and be effective in a Matrixed structure - Ability to understand and appreciate R&amp;D, sourcing and manufacturing processes to input into product development and innovation work streams - Strong research skills, esp. in the areas of exploratory research, insight mining, consumer, shopper and expert research - Strong Communication Skills - Effective and Confident in Stakeholder Management
