Job Title : GPS Practitioner Department : GSK Production System Job Purpose : - Improve the site performance by implementing Lean Sigma philosophy under GPS Program through building capability, implementing process improvement projects and facilitating knowledge transfer between sites to accelerate business benefits. Key Responsibilities : - Transfer of tools, techniques, knowledge and skills acquired during expert training sessions to all site employees - Responsible for the application of tools, techniques, knowledge and skills acquired during expert training sessions to generate opportunities that deliver business benefit - both financial and non-financial - Design and implement measures to monitor improvements in operational performance - Develop benefit cases for improvement projects and support the business in benefit realization - Ensure that GPS becomes integrated with other processes and methods of working so as to deliver the "changed way of working" - Maintain and record all Lean Sigma related activities, savings, budgets, trainings, rewards, MIS reports & progress on GPS KPIs - Network with other Site Experts and Champions to exchange and implement learning and good practice - Responsible for providing mentoring support to GPS Advocates including Managers Scope of Accountability : Job holder initiates, helps implementation and reviews GPS projects at the Sonepat site which includes areas such as : - Production Units, Warehousing, Procurement, Utilities and Engineering, & Quality Assurance. Job holder leads cross-functional teams for implementation of specific projects comprising of 5-8 members : - For Financial delivery as per plan - For Meeting GPS KPI Knowledge/ Education / Experience Required : Educational Background : 1. Minimum Level of Education : Bachelor of Engineering Area of Specialisation : Dairy/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Why is this Level of Education Required? : Technical Competency 2.
