GlaxoSmithKline - GCC Internal Communications Manager

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following.

- Build and deliver a strong communication plan for GSK Bengaluru to engage and motivate employees

- Develop and manage core local communications channels (including site town halls, local Workplace group, intranet, etc.) to deliver messages with the right cadence and stimulate a 2-way dialogue in the organisation.

- Be a strategic business partner for the GCC Site lead and the local leadership team, so they can inspire employees, celebrate results and effectively communicate the role that the GCC plays in the Global Business Strategy

- Embed culture and purpose for both new companies to generate excitement about the future, while creating a common ground and a sense of belonging for local employees

- Create and maintain strong relationships with the Future Ready Communications team and GSKs Corporate Communications team to deploy corporate-led communications in a timely and accurate manner.

- Develop strong relationships with the GSK India Communications Team to maximise the use of comms resources at country level and provide support for external communications matters

- Post Graduate Degree level qualification is required

- Previous professional communication experience of at least 12 years in a related position in a large multinational company

- Experience in the Pharma industry and in other Global Capability Centres is a strong plus

- Able to build strong comms plan grounded in business objectives and deliver results

- Business Partnering and senior stakeholder management

- Experience of working with social media (ideally Workplace by Facebook), intranet pages and other web-based channels, including evaluation of communication performance

- Fluent written and spoken English

- Strong appetite for the role
