GlaxoSmithKline - Assistant Manager - Engineering Compliance

REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager Engineering

LOCATION: Rajahmundry

DEPARTMENT: Engineering

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Timely management of compliance initiatives / directives

- Handling of GMS Engg. / EHS alerts

- Improvement in TP-13 scores

- No RIIR from contractor employees

- YOY improvement on First Aid cases

- YOY improvement on near miss reports

- Training of contractor supervisors

- Develop simple processes and systems to monitor and control contractor safety performance

- Support team in timely completion of CAPA related to compliance and engineering safety

Managerial Responsibilities:

- Coach and develop team on compliance aspects

- Develop training modules and schedule for contractor employees

- Support team in delivery of effective (content & mode) daily pep talks

- Sharing in safety incident reports from GSK or non-GSK sites

- Support project manager/s in developing safe execution plan

- Support team in developing JSA's for activities related to engineering

- Support section in-charges in gap analysis and implementation of EHS and GES standards

- Communicating applicable EHS\ENGG alerts to site team and coordinate to get action closure

- Coordinating / supporting section in-charges for plugging the gaps

- Conducting schedule meetings with contractors

- Developing/ identifying solutions for ZAG

- Conducting audits for LOTO and taking awareness sessions to GSK employees

Work Experience - 8 to 10 years with minimum 3 years as safety engineer
