More about us here  SUMMARY  At GiveIndia, we've been making incremental efforts to facilitate 'giving' through digital channels, as we saw more and more of our donors go online. However, to really make online giving happen at scale, we are looking to leapfrog and build one of the world's best online giving platforms, and transforming ourselves to a tech-centric product-first start-up, and to bring delight into giving.  - To make this vision a reality, we are looking for a technology leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, to build our tech capabilities, and in a hands-on manner, drive building and scaling giving marketplace and a giving culture, in India and beyond.  - This is a leadership role and the person will be a critical part of our core leadership team and will co-own and contribute to our company's mission, vision, strategy and operations. The person will be responsible for contributing to and delivering on our product vision end-to-end through technology, and will be building and leading our engineering and technology team.  - This is an extremely rare opportunity that brings rewarding, high-impact meaningful work exciting, fast-paced start-up environment freedom to operate  The ideal candidate would have:  - a top tier Computer Science degree (one of the top IITs etc)  - 6-9 years of hands-on software development experience, including leading tech team(s)  - strong passion for technology, exceptional software engineering skills and strong CS fundamentals  - experience with modern web-frameworks such as Node.js, React and microservices based architecture.  - experience in driving product development through agile methodology  - a drive to make a difference in the lives of others - an impact lens to his/her work  - a strong problem-solving and product mindset  - a hands-on entrepreneurial get-things-done energy  - ability to stretch and commit to an intense start-up work environment
