Description :

- We are a startup planning on launching a brand-new internet product that will take the gifting industry by storm! We are looking for passionate and visionary Partnerships & BD Senior Manager to help this new product reach its full potential.

Responsibilities :

- Establishing the business development team from scratch

- Working with leadership to clearly define the merchant onboarding strategy

- End-to-end onboarding major brands from comestibles such as coffee & fast food/even fashion &home needs etc.., from lead generation to commercial negotiations and closing

- Managing a pan-India B2B field sales force, responsible for meeting monthly sales targets

- Advise the tech team on current practices in IT infrastructure in the offline retail environment to ensure simple on-boarding and settlement processes

- Define a merchant segmentation, prioritization and selection strategy

- Work with marketing on advertising and merchandising plans for partner merchants

- Develop a feedback loop to ensure constantly improving the experience for partner merchants/brands

- Over time, will be required to set up regional sales offices and hire and mentor new business development leaders

An ideal candidate will bring :

- At least 5+years of experience in starting or developing acquisitions channels, set up channel engagement process, channel incentive programs, rewards and recognition programs

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Experience in owning significant P&L responsibilities

- Must have a strong analytical background with a solid understanding of distribution networks, merchant P&Ls

- Ability to think big and launch - industry-leading- ideas. Experience combining products or business assets in non-traditional ways to create new opportunities

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent networking relationships within the business community.

Education : MBA from the Top Ranked Colleges.

Experience level : 5+ years.

Industry on boarding experience: F&B,Fast Food,Retail,Cosmetics,Restaurant,Entertainment,Service Industry,Coffe shops,beauty etc.
